    noomoo ("noomoo", "we", "us") is operated by JobChange Australia (ABN 30 724 947 983). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

    What we collect

    • Account data: name, email, login credentials (passwords stored hashed, never plain text); if you sign in with Google, Facebook, or X we receive basic profile details.
    • Venue data: business info you submit — name, address, contact details, opening hours, website, photos, description.
    • Usage data: device, browser, pages visited, to keep the site working and improve it.

    We don't seek sensitive information (health, racial, religious) and ask that you don't submit it.

    Directory listings and publicly visible information

    noomoo is a public directory. Venue listings (name, address, contact details, hours, photos, descriptions) are shown publicly and may appear in search engines. Contact details added to a listing are intended to be public — don't add personal contact info you don't want shown. Reviews are published under your display name.

    How we use your information

    To operate the directory, manage your account, display and manage listings, respond to reviews and enquiries, provide support, and (where you've agreed) send updates.

    Marketing communications and opt-out

    We only send marketing emails where you've opted in or as permitted under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; you can opt out anytime via that link or by emailing info@noomoo.com.au. Opting out doesn't stop essential service messages (billing, security).

    Cookies

    We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control or block cookies in your browser; some features may not work without them. For details on the cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie policy.

    Who we share it with

    We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run noomoo (hosting, database) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

    Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

    You can access or update most info in your account. To request correction or deletion, or ask a question, contact info@noomoo.com.au. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

    We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date.
